Dyes: at least the 3 primary colors red, blue, yellow.
Suggest , or Dupont dyes or Jacquard if you do not want to steam set. You can purchase Jaquard kit from
Dharma; which includes dye, chemical color set, resist, applicator, and brush.
Palette or small ceramic cups or containers for your dye
Brushes, water color brushes, sponge brushes
Risist
Gutta serti, or aqua Gutta (if you purchase Jacquard kit this is included)
Large water containers like empty tubs from yogurt, butter etc.
Pencil or marker pen
Scissors
Hairdryer
Silk scarves
Suggest 3 to 4 8mm china silk about 15" wide to 60" long
Gloves to protect hands
Alcohol, from pharmacy (not the drinking kind)
frame, 22" x 70" wood stretcher bars can get at art supply store
rubber bands
clips from office supply store (click here to see picture), or silk claws from Dharma
