As a Chinese brush painter I have been using sized silk for many years but now enjoy the freedom and effects that raw silk bring to my work. I was trained in South Africa by Mr. Fok, the art professor for the Chinese school there, then moved to England and taught Chinese art at the adult education classes in Croydon for 10 years. At present am living in Spain and hold classes and live-in workshops there in Silk and Chinese painting.
I still teach workshops in England 5 times a year and also work for P & O cruise ships, teaching on board.
